Original era manufacture. A very clean example of the US WWII issue Pick Mattock & carrier. Head carries the makers markings and date, D.C.H.S.CO.42, which is deeply and clearly struck. Original paint finish to handle and head. Light OD canvas carrier with faint makers marks which also appears to be dated 1942. Carrier shows some minor wear but is clean, no holes, tears or major staining.
