Original era manufacture. A very clean set featuring a 1942 dated light OD carrier, which is maker marked S.S.Co., and post production OD painted handle and OD painted, US marked pick mattock head.Faint old Army-Navy .39 cent price mark on the cover. All in all it is a very clean set in serviceable condition.
