Original period manufacture.Clean, polished steel blade measuring 6 1/4 inches, simple steel guard. Stacked leather grip with black-white-red-black spacers, and an aluminum pommel which is pinned to the tang.The knife is in very sound condition,with an old, intelligently sharpened edge, and displaying normal age staining to the surface. No issues with the stacked grip.The PAL marked, russet leather scabbard is of stitched and riveted construction, with minimalscuffing to the surface. The pommel strap is present, and intact. Small cut in the throat opening.
