Original period manufacture. This very well made jacket is about 20 years old, made by SM Wholesale of Los Angeles and is a near perfect replica of the classic Army Air Corps flying jacket of WWII. Red brown leather jacket with an orange cotton lining with a period looking embroidered tag in the collar. On the right side is an amazing, 20 piece, leather patch of the Flying Tigers, even the retinas of the tiger's eyes are tiny pieces of leather. On the right shoulder is a four piece leather SSI of the Army Air Corps, and on the left, a 7 piece leather SSI of the CBI. There are stitch marks from a removed name tag on the left front, and a Blood Chit on the back. Size of the jacket is about a 40 regular. No issues beyond some light wear and use, really only just broken in, although I did notice some minor moth bites in the wool cuffs.
