US WWII Shearling Flight Helmet, Electronics & Goggles

Original era manufacture. Brown shearling helmet, NAF1092W-71, with a sterling Lieutenant Colonel oakleaf mounted at front and the number 61 stenciled in red paint next to it. The shearling leather is in poor condition, but still displays well. There is a puncture in the crown, and the rear seam is torn. Nice pair of green lensed Mark IV flying goggles mounted to the helmet, and a set of original electronics mounted in the earcups. This is an original set in our opinion, not assembled. Too bad the identity of the aviator is not known.
