Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidery, cut-edge patch which does not fluoresce under a UV light. Green cotton reverse, light age and wear. The Red Star Division served in the Pacific Theater during WWII, it spent 306 days in combat, in two campaigns, New Guinea and the Philippines, suffering the loss of 2,370 casualties.
