Original period manufacture. Slot brooch Purple Heart, numbered edge 181186, complete with original issue case, lapel button and ribbon bar. For some reason the area behind Washington's profile is painted, not enameled, not plastic. I did not notice this when I purchased it, only saw it while typing the description.
