Original era manufacture. A very homemade looking knife with the 7.25 inch blade made from a section of a US M1913 Patton Sword. Simple steel oval guard, with a fitted stacked leather grip and plain brass pommel cap.The sheath is rather crude in construction, with large copper rivets holding the sections together. The blade displays evidence of old cleaned corrosion, but retains a nice luster to the surface.
