Original era publication. A private purchase PX type pocket size book of around100 pagesor so. First 30 pages provide helpful information to the new soldier, with the remaining pages left blank for notes or a diary. This book belonged to one Pvt. W.H.Pentek Jr US Army Air Corps. Unlike most of these books, Private Pentek made an attempt to keep a record of his service time. Entries are made from July of 1942 up to November of 1943, when he made his last entry "Canton, went on our first mission today, the target was Miloalop (sic). Jack got hurt then, it spoil the mission for us". Normal handling and wear.
