Original era manufacture. Silver and gold wire embroidery on a sky blue wool backing material. There are stitch marks around the edges from being sewn to a flight jacket, and on the reverse residue of an old paper covering. The 450th Bomb Group flew B-24's out of Italian bases, earning two Distinguished Unit Citations.
