Original era manufacture. Thick cotton embroidery on blue silk and yellow wool. The 86th Fighter Squadron earned three Distinguished Unit Citations during WWII, serving in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. They were credited with the destruction of 194 enemy aircraft. Minor moth nibbling on the edges, measures 5 inches in width.
