A pocket size launching card for the USS Skate, 4March 1943, Mare Island Navy Yard.This provided the sequence of events and activities to allow the Sub to enter the water for the first time.TheSkate completed7 War Patrols during WWII, and was credited with the sinking of6 Japanese ships, including a destroyer and Light Cruiser,damaged the Battleship Yamato,and rescued numerous downed US aviators. She was destroyed in 1948.
