Original era manufacture. Light khaki covered fibre helmet with a brown cloth chinstrap, and simple brown sweatband.Attached to the front of the helmet via the grommet, is an enameled DI from a Chemical battalion.From the collection of a US Army Officer, who served with a Chemical unit during WWII. Normal age and wear.
