Original era manufacture. Clear US stamped on theblade shaft and handle, with original paint to the shovel's surface. The blade is clean showing normal age and wear. Clean condition, light OD canvas carrier, maker marked by B.B. CO INC 1942, with the last four digits of a soldiers service number stenciled on the fabric, 3448. Again, normal age and wear.
