Orginal era manufacture. A very clean example of a WWII produced shovel, which is maker marked on the top of the blade shank, I.S. & D-43; one of the few we've ever had so marked. The shovel retains most of it's original paint finish, showing cleaning over the portion where the makers name was stamped. The shovel is accompanied by a very nice original cover, light OD canvas, with a clear U.S. stencil and maker marked W.L. Dumas Mfg Co. 1943.
