Original era manufacture. Clearl US stamped on the blade shaft, with a postwar repaint to the shovel's surface. The blade is clean and free of any corrosion pitting.Near new condition W. B. Farrell Assoc Inc.1942 marked light OD cover, with a great Boston QMD Depot "Combat Serviceable" tag stapled to the edge of the cover.
