Original era manufacture. US stamped on the blade shaft and wooden handle, with a thick original green paint to the shovel's surface. The blade is rust free showing wear to the painted surface at the tip. Clean light OD canvas carrier, mostly storage wear, with faint makers marks and date on the reverse. Small rust stain caused by contact with the steel belt hook.
