Original era publication. The Marine's Handbook by Major L.A. Brown, U.S. Marine Corps.  Softbound 242 pages. 1940 7th edition. Shows handling and wear, some light staining, and tearing to the spine. Stenciled name on the cover, J.J. BALFE, and a handwritten name on the inside, Cpl. John J. Balfe. John James Balfe, served with I company, 27th Marine Regiment, 5th Marine Division, and was wounded in action on the 13th of March 1945, while fighting on Iwo Jima.
