Original era manufacture. An interesting GI made fighting knife made from a Japanese Type 30 Bayonet. 7.5 inch polished steel blade with an oval shell-brass guard, stacked leather grip with an aluminum pommel cap. The scabbard is made from a cut down Japanese bayonet scabbard and is the proper length for the blade. Purchased from the son of the GI who brought it home from WWII.
