Original era manufacture. A very well done knife, using a M1910 Bolo knife as its basis. The blade has been heavily modified with none of the original markings remaining visible. Nicely finished original wooden grips; the cut-out for the lock button remains on top of the grip, just behind the guard.Open steel guard with four pointed projections on the outside. Well made brown leather sheath, with a wide belt loop. Normal handling and wear. These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
