Original era manufacture. A well made, and purposeful knife with a 9.5 inch, double edged blade of polished steel. Scattered staining along its length, but no corrosion pitting.Dark steel patina finish guard, with 7 projections on the outside of the knuckle bow. Simple wood grip, very similar to a US M1917 knife. Simple brown leather sheath of sewn and stapled construction. Normal age and wear. These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
