Original era manufacture. Recently purchased from a local collection is this very interesting GI's knife from WWII. Aircraft aluminum grip with a chrome steel blade. The homemade leather scabbard shows the name "Bille" and a hand drawn Armored Force insignia bearing the number 781. The 781st Tank Battalion served with the US 100th Infantry Division in Europe during WWII.
