Original era manufacture. A very well made knife, featuring a polished steel, double edged blade measuring 7.5 inches in length; initials WK on the ricasso. Machined aluminum guard with four finger holes, with the underside of the guard being set close to the grip. Machined aluminum pommel cap, nice quality wooden grip with finger grooves. Simple leather sheath of riveted and sewn construction, stenciled on the reverse with the owners name, KEMPF, S.W. These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
