Original era manufacture. Swivel bale, front seam steel helmet with a fairly current OD paint job. This helmet has been completely rebuilt for display, and or Living History programs, and as such, does a pretty good job of getting the point across. Westinghouse marked high pressure lining with all new light OD webbing, with nape strap and leather trimmed sweatband. Pliable leather liner chinstrap with magnetic buckle and hooks. The liner fits so tightly inside the helmet because of the net, that I did not wish to risk damaging anything trying to yank it free to check the lot number, or paint finish on the liner exterior. Dark OD canvas replacement helmet chinstraps with non-magnetic buckles. Wide opening helmet net with three color scrim. This helmet is ready to plop on your noggin.
