Original era publication. A well-filled out logbook to a Navy Pilot which covers the years March 1941-April 1943, beginning at NAS Pensacola, his last duty squadron was noted as Fighting Squadron 16. Ancestry provides some information regarding his service, particularly in his family tree where it is noted that he flew airplanes off of aircraft carries in the Pacific during WWII. Fighting Squadron 16 was assigned to the USS Lexington in 1944, with two noted US Navy Aces, Alexander Vraciu (10), Paul Buie (9), serving in the squadron during that time. Normal handling and wear.
