Original period manufacture. Blue finished blade with makers name of Camillus on one side of the ricasso, and U.S.N. on the other. Stacked leather grip. Grip is tight, with no missing or cracked segments. Thick pommel disc with a threaded tang and securing nut.  Very sound brown leather scabbard of riveted and sewn construction. U.S.N. stamped into the throat.  Light age and wear.
