Original period manufacture. Front seamed, reflective edge, fixed bale steel helmet with original sewn, light OD canvas chinstraps with brass attaching buckles.Navy gray overpaint of the original dark OD paint finish; the lot number looks to be 28B. Stress crack in the shell on the left front edge.  High pressure liner by CAPAC with original light OD webbing showing age and wear. Smooth OD paint finish to the exterior, also showing age and wear.
