Original era manufacture. Standard WWII Navy Good Conduct Medal, named to one Barnarr Augustus Dunson, and dated 1932 with a 1935 clasp. The research on this medal reveals a long service with the US Navy, which resulted in his beingcommissioned a Lieutenant JG after December 7th 1941. His career ended tragically on the early evening of October 8th 1944, when aboard the USS Pensacola en-route to Marcus Island on a fire mission; an enormous wave broke over the top of I-Turret, washing away two officers, including Lt. Dunson, their bodies were never recovered. Normal age and wear
