Original period manufacture. Five inch steel blade with a parkerized finish, light wear to the surface with a slight sharpening to the cutting edge. The base of the blade is marked USN on one side, RH PAL 35 on the other. Sound stacked leather grip with no chips, cracks or missing segments. Scarce pattern with a wooden pommel. Again, no cracks or chips, just a few very shallow dents from handling. Comes with a commercial sheath which fits the blade properly but is not military issue.
