Original era manufacture. A complete example, in unused condition, showing storage wear only. Identified through the book, "US Chemical & Biological Defense Respirators" by Christopher T. Carey, page 125.It is identified as a model in use circa 1943-1944, and is still bound with its white cotton cord tie. The Navy gray demisting canister is inside the carrying pouch along with a cardboard protective cover for the exhalation valve.Sound gray canvas satchel, its only issue being fading and staining on the bottom of the satchel body.
