US WWII US Navy Officer Gray Cotton Top Visor Hat

Original era manufacture. A good quality private purchase hat with a gray cotton top and blue wool band. Affixed to the front of the hat is a two-piece regulation US Navy officers hat insignia, which has a nice silver toned eagle. I have not removed the eagle to check and see if it is sterling marked. Naval Uniform Service manufacture sweat shield in the top. Size about a 7 1/4, the front of the sweat shield is loose, otherwise the hat is in very sound condition.
