Original era manufacture. US WWII WAVES white summer uniform.The white uniforms are much more scarce than the blues. Normally the whites are found with many scorches, brown spotting and wear. This one is free from all of that. It has blue Navy buttons, 4 on the jacket. The skirt has two buttons and a zipper intact.34 inch chest, 22 inches long Jacket26 inch waist 26 inches long SkirtTwo inside pockets on the jacket and two pockets on the skirt. Her name, Anne Mae Sovik is inside in three places. Anne was born in 1923 in Hubbard, Ohio. During World War II, at the age of 18, she enlisted in the WAVES and served as an Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class receiving an honorable discharge on September 16, 1945. While in the Navy, she met her husband "Dutch" Keenan, whom she married May 26, 1945. They were married for 70 years.
