Original era manufacture. A very complete archive of paperwork concerning the service of a US Army Air Force officer, who served as a Co-Pilot, in the 613th Bombardment Squadron during WWII.During his service, he participated in 33 missions over Europe; Berlin (3 times), Munich, Leipzig, Caen, St.Lo and Peenemunde to name a few. During his service he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with several Oak Leaf Clusters. The archive is contained in his WWII Pilot's Navigation Kit satchel, which is a nice collectible in itself. While doing some preliminary research on this officer, I found a website dedicated to his Bombardment Group, which included an alphabetic list of personnel, including our man. It has his photo, and list of all missions flown. This has been printed off and included in the already large assembly of paperwork concerning his career.
