Original period manufacture. Pliable leather flying helmet with an intact chinstrap, in a nice large size. The rubber ear pads remain pliable, with clear markings on the top of the helmet and interior.The original tag is sewn inside the helmet, stating the maker to be FOX CHASE KNITTING MILLS (Miller Parachute Division), size large. Looks to display storage wear only, the small adjusting strap on the bottom rear edge of helmet has broken, although the strap portions are complete.
