Original period manufacture. Escape & Evasion Map 133-K, Eastern & Western portions of K'un-Ming, Yunnan, China to Chabua Assam India, January 1944.This pattern map is unique in that it was the only US produced E&E map which also served as a Blood Chit, with the following printed in 7 languages;"I am an American Airman. My plane is destroyed, I cannot speak your language. I am an enemy of the Japanese. Please give me food and take me to the nearest Allied Military Post. You will be rewarded".This appears in Bengali, Hindustani (Urdu), Kachin, Lisu, Burmese, Chinese and English.
