Original period manufacture. Original paint finish to the shell, simple light OD canvas liner, and matching material adjustable chinstrap. The exterior displays typical age and wear, the brown wool felt ear pads are missing. Online sources state slightly over 200,000 of this pattern helmet were produced in 1942-1943.
