Original period manufacture. Original paint finish to the shell, simple light OD canvas liner with circular brown wool felt pads glued into the metal ear covering. Light OD canvas adjustable chinstrap. Few small garage paint smudges on the front of the helmet. Sources state slightly over 200,000 of this pattern helmet were produced in 1942-1943.
