Original period manufacture. Portions of the felt paint finish remain to the shell, simple light OD canvas liner, with a leather brow band.  Brown leather adjustable chinstrap, with the left side strap missing. The exterior displays typical age and wear.Online sources state slightly over 200,000 of this pattern helmet were produced in 1942-1943.
