Original era manufacture. US WWII USAAF Film Dryer Type A8 with storage case. This elaborate contraption was used to quickly dry recently developed film for intelligence purposes. The device was clamped to a flat surface, the blades deployed and the film fitted through. The operator then turned the handle, drying the film as the blades turned. Comes with its original OD metal storage can with handle. Looks complete. Weighs 11 pounds
