Original period manufacture. Black rubber frames with a central dial which allows the wearer to adjust the darkness level of the lenses. They can be adjusted from a pale green to near black. Worn by heavy bomber crews to find the "Hun in the Sun". The adjustable elastic headband has not been stretched out, and the goggles retain their flip-down red plastic filter. US & 1945 dated on the front. Light age and wear.
