Original era manufacture. Large pattern folding knife & saw-blade, which formed part of the survival kits on US aircraft during WWII.This example was made by United G.R. (Grand Rapids) MICH, and bears the makers markings on the side of the blue finished blade. Sound black plastic grips free of cracks or chips. The metal surfaces show evidence of cleaning, no corrosion pitting, a very clean example.
