Original era manufacture. Large patternfolding knife with sawblade, which formed part of thesurvival kits on US aircraft during WWII.This examplewas made by United Machine Tool Company of Grand Rapids Michigan, and bears the makers markings, UNITED G.R. MICH.Nearly all of the original finish remains on the knife, with a touch of finish loss at the tip and cutting edge. Black plastic grip panels are in sound condition, with just a little bit of grime down in the recesses.
