Original era manufacture. A well used 1st pattern USMC lower pack assembly showing a 1st Division tactical diamond on the reverse, with the numbers 723 within. The name C.D. Stephens is written below the diamond, and also appears on the underside of the flap. Well used, scattered staining, but no holes or tears. Old Army-Navy store grease pencil price on the reverse, 2.98.
