Original era manufacture. Unlined, light OD canvas cover without a drain hole in the bottom. Aluminum 1943 dated canteen, with an early flat-top cap,  and a 1942 dated tinned steel cup. Sound set, no issues beyond normal wear and use.The Marine's name E.H.YEAGER is stenciled on the body of the cover.
