Original era manufacture. Classic WWII Marine utility knife, with a stacked leather grip. KA-BAR and U.S.M.C. marked on the ricasso. The blade exhibits a mix of blue and steel patina finish displaying typical age and wear. Stacked leather grip with no missing segments. Thick pommel with a rectangular tang. Sound leather sheath of sewn and riveted construction, intact pommel strap. A good solid example of a Gyrene Kabar, which has seen some use.
