Original era manufacture. Thin grip with a peened tang and fat pommel. Blade marked USMC and KA-BAR. Mix of steel patina and parkerized finish remains on the blade, proper configuration with no corrosion issues. Sound stacked leather grip with a rectangular identifying mark carved into the grip surface. Original leather scabbard of sewn and riveted construction, intact pommel strap, with period owners name carved into the reverse.
