Original era manufacture.Massive steel blade finished in the bright, with deeply struck lettering U.S.M.C. on the obverse side of the blade. The original Clyde Cutlery logo was faintly etched onto the surface, and usually was removed after minor use. Scattered areas of staining to the blade surface, factory edge intact. Very sound leather sheath which is US marked, dated 1942 and BOYT maker named.
