Original era manufacture. Light OD canvas mapcase displaying honest service use, complete with a removable shoulder strap and map protector insert. The  reverse is maker marked BOYT 43 and the name AUSLANDER. USMC marked under the flap. Ancestry provides a number of listings for a Marine officer, Saul H. Auslander, for the years 1945-1952.
