Original era manufacture. Light OD canvas scabbard which is USMC marked, and 1943 dated on its reverse. The scabbard shows wear and use, with a darkened rectangle on the obverse, likely obliterating a previous owners name. 1945 dated Tru-Temper machete with an olive drab plastic handle. Parkerized finish 18 inch blade, overall normal age and wear.
