Original era manufacture. Classic WWII Marine utility knife, with a stacked leather grip. KABAR  and U.S.M.C. marked on the ricasso. The blue finish blade exhibits honest age and wear, with evidence of a period sharpening and cleaning. Thick pommel with a rectangular tang. Sound leather sheath of sewn and stapled construction, intact pommel strap. A good solid example of a Gyrene Kabar, which has seen some use.
